About Tarchin

Meet Tarchin! This super sweet boy has been patiently waiting for his forever home for two years. Yikes, that's a long time, especially for a dog who is as gentle and kind as he is. Tarchin was found in an area called Kadikoy, which is in the Asian part of Istanbul. Sadly, he was hit by a car and sustained serious damage to his left hind leg and the best course of action was to amputate. But don't let that deter you! He doesn't mind that he's missing a leg, it's his heart that will shower you with love and affection. This sweetheart is between 3-4 years old. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is very calm, not a runner or a jumper...he will most likely be a great couch companion! He is excellent with all dogs and humans. Lastly, the name 'Tarchin' means cinnamon in Turkish. Wouldn't you love to add a little cinnamon and sugar to spice up your life!?! Tarchin is currently in Istanbul and flight arrangements to JFK will be made upon his adoption. The adoption fee includes mandatory vaccines, blood work, neuter, and flight costs. If you are captivated by Tarchin, please send a kind message expressing your interest. We aim to follow up on all messages within 48 hrs, however, if you do not hear from us within that time, we are happy to say that it's because the dog has been adopted or has been reserved for adoption. We only adopt to homes looking for life long furry four-legged family members. Quarantine restrictions prevent us from adopting to residents of MA and RI.
