East Valley Shelter, Van Nuys, so Cal Tyson is an adorable 9 month old high-energy pittie who is in the shelter because he has allergies and is very fearful/anxious. Per his family, his favorite activity is swimming and he knows many obedience commands like sit, come, stay and shake. He loves brisk walks on leash (needs some work here as he pulls hard), playing in the yard and running/jogging. His previous family reports that he lived with older children (ages 10,11, & 14) & cats. Apparently, his play style is exuberant (he is a puppy after all) and somewhat rough. Per the family, he has never bitten a human or other animal. Tyson needs an rescue/experienced owner who can give him the training, confidence building and exercise he needs to become a well mannered adult dog.
