About Roxy

Roxy is a special girl, who needs a special home is willing to give her the time she needs to warm up. Though she isn't a dog for just anyone, we KNOW that her forever home is somewhere out there! Roxy is great with other dogs (small-XL), which would help her in getting into a new schedule. Originally found as a feral puppy with her litter mates, she was adopted into a home and when the owners went to surrender her the rescue refused Roxy since she wasn't 'adoptable'. Roxy avoids everyone at first but will eventually warm up after a few meetings and once she realizes you will, you have a loyal companion for life. She has an extensive leash training, as well as basic obedience, Roxy would love someone who wants to go for walks or hikes.
