Meet Percy, a 6-year old male Great Pyrenees / Lab mix located in the Boston area. At one hundred pounds, he's a lot of dog to wrap your arms around and his heart is as big as his body. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and available for foster or adoption in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut through our furr-iends at Survivor Tails Rescue. Percy is a beach bum and nature lover. He enjoys hanging out with people at home or on the trails. He loves to hike and swim, and would thrive with an active, nature-loving owner. He is loyal towards friends and family but wary of strangers, especially men. He prefers the ladeez, so his family will include an experienced female family member. Percy has certain home and family needs to ensure his success, including a quiet child-free environment with little comings and goings. He also needs to be the only fur-kid. A big boy like Percy needs space to roam and stretch his legs, so he's specifically looking for a single-family home with fenced-in yard. Luckily, Percy loves to learn and will be attending a board and train program prior to joining his new family in hopes of boosting his confidence and social prowess. With such valuable training on his resume, his family must be willing and able to keep up his skills. Percy will need an active, experienced family, but his loyalty makes him well worth the effort. If you are interested in adopting or fostering, please fill out an application at survivortails.org or email [email protected] with any questions. PLEASE tell them ARK sent you! #ARKforPercy
