About Jack

Jack is an approximate 5.5 year old Chihuahua who weighs around 6 lbs. He had a rough start to his young life and ended up in a shelter after being found in a vacated apartment. Luckily, he was adopted by a very loving family but due to unforeseen circumstances recently, they had to move and could not keep him. The heartbreaking decision was made to surrender him to Rev so we could find his final forever home. Jack is very loyal and will need an adjustment period with his new humans, but when he does open up, he has the best personality! He loves going on walks and does great on leash, but a fenced yard is MANDATORY so he can explore safely, as he is still very nervous in new environments. He also loves a good snuggle on the couch under the blankets and prefers to sleep in bed with his humans the same way, so you have to be willing to share your space! Jack has really bonded with his foster dad Chase, and he spends most of his day in the office, on his cozy dog bed, watching him work--he would love a stay-at-home Dad to hang out with! ���� Jack is looking for a low-traffic, quiet home with patient adults to help him gain confidence and he has expressed nervousness around smaller children, so we will assess families with kids very carefully. He wouldn't mind living with a cat or another small dog, but big dogs are just too much for him...he is just a little guy, after all! Jack is crate and house trained, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations.
