Courtesy Posting: ADORABLE CHOW MIX IN EL PASO SHELTER - NEEDS A FOSTER/ADOPTER/RESCUE OSO - ID#A45259052 El Paso Shelter, El Paso, TX Adorable chow mix Oso was found as a stray in September, emaciated and weighing only 47 lbs at the time. Originally limping too, he has since significantly improved with better nutrition, and gabapentin, and we have video of him running around having fun. He is now a much healthier 64 lbs- and oh so handsome as his fur has grown back. Oso is estimated to be 6 years old and has now been neutered, was given entropion surgery, and is now looking for his forever home. He is temporarily in a foster home where he has made friends with another male dog named Bones, and is also potty and kenneled trained. Note: both dogs can be placed in the same home together or separately. However, he is set to return to the shelter soon as the foster cannot keep him or his friend which may be adopted together, or separately.
