ADOPTION RETURN :( 19-Nov-2020 Staff Fave Golden girl GOLDA is good with dogs & cats per recent owner! She has adorable folded ears & a cute brown patch on her eye! She was fast asleep in bed with her parents when it happened. One minute she was dreaming of squirrels and sunny days out walking with these two people she loved, and the next minute she was feeling crushed by someone or something that was bearing down on her and causing her to feel like she could not breath. The resulting accident left her frightened, confused, and on the floor whimpering with her head down - realizing she had done something wrong, and hoping to be forgiven. She was startled awake, you see, she didn't know what it was that was crushing the life out of her. GOLDA would NEVER have hurt her 'mom' if she had not been rolled over on in bed, crushed under her mom when her dad pulled her mom to him for a cuddle, not realizing little Golda was stuck between them. Why was she not forgiven? Until that moment, her life was perfect with her new family of 2 months. Her friendly, wiggly, affectionate and playful personality made her the apple of her parents eyes, and she even was good with the family cats! Nice to children, friendly with other dogs, a sterling resume - what was there not to love about Golda? But that is how it goes when you love someone more than they love you. Now Golda is back at the shelter, heartbroken, confused, and anxiety ridden. She never thought she would see this place again and it shows in her sweet face. Won't you please help Golda? She deserves all the love her gentle heart can hold. HURRY AND MESSAGE OUR PAGE or EMAIL US at [email protected] if you are an experienced foster or adopter in a home with no young children who can give Golda back her smile. What my friends at ACC say about me: I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them. I would prefer someone who can be home with me most of the time.
