I have a serious issue and I hope you can help me. My live in-daughter has a Pit/Jack Russell mix, about 2-3 years old, about 40lbs. His previous owners abused him. Normally he is a loving albeit hyper dog. Unfortunately his aggressiveness is growing. He recently bit a guest pretty bad, drawing blood in several places. We decided anytime someone comes over he will be put up in my daughter's room. Unfortunately, he then rips into her room. 2 days ago, while trying to put him in the room because we had guests he bit me hard, 3x. I am without a doubt his alpha. He did not draw blood but I had on protective clothing. He has never bitten me before outside of playful nips. In fact, he is even playfully biting more and more and harder and harder. He is also getting more and more aggressive with the cats. He needs to be rescued ASAP. I do not want him destroyed. He is otherwise healthy. He does have separation anxiety. He ate his last two large metal dog cages. He rips off every muzzle we tried. I want to stress, NORMALLY HE IS A VERY LOVING DOG. But, if he draws blood again, I will be forced to put him down immediately.
