About Karma

Karma is a sweet girl with a very sad story. Her owner was hospitalized, so her neighbors dropped Karma off into boarding at her vet. For several months her vet kept contact with her owner in the hospital. When they stopped hearing from her and her neighbors, they sent a police officer to do a wellness check on her. It turns out that her owner had passed away, and her neighbors did not inform the vet because they were scared of her, did not want to pick her up, or be forced to pay her boarding bill. Our rescue stepped up to take her. Since then, she has been bounced around from foster home, to boarding facility, to home, to boarding facility. This girl has been rejected enough. She is looking for a reliable person to live out her days with. Her experiences in the last two years have left her very scared and timid. She needs a very soft place to land. She was raised with a dachshund and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. She struggles with ear infections and allergies, so she needs a dedicated owner to take care of her. She loves treats, toys, and playing. She is altered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and on prevention. She is almost 8 years old. Adoption fee is $75. Applications can be submitted at warsc.net. Email inquiries are not considered. No meet and greets are scheduled without an approved app. Due to high volume of apps, you will only be contacted if your application is approved. WE DO NOT TRANSPORT, SHIP, OR TRANSFER TO OTHER RESCUES, YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE TO UPSTATE SC, WE DO NOT HOLD LONGER THAN THE FIRST WEEKEND AFTER YOUR APP IS APPROVED NO EXCEPTIONS.
