About Amari

Adoptions are scheduled by appointments only after an application has been filled out. If you are interested in adopting, please download an adoption application from our website TORescue.org and submit over to us. Please do not visit any shelters or rescue groups prior to coming into ours. We do this to keep our animals healthy and diseases from entering our rescue. We brought Amari in when she was only two days old. The shelter didn't realize that she was born with a cleft lip and palate. She wasn't able to nurse and was not doing too good. She was tube fed until she was five weeks of age. We started feeding her solid foods at the age of five weeks and she did great. She was seen by a board-certified veterinarian who said she does not require surgery. Her surgery would only be a cosmetic repair. We believe that her small abnormalities give her character. She is searching for a loving home with a family that is going to spoil her and love her forever. She is definitely a little miracle. She has been raised around other dogs and cats. She loves playing with her toys and chasing her tail. She's super smart and she knows it. She is a lab and pit bull mix. For more information reach out to our rescue 909-267-9715.
