Hello! My name is Pepper and boy am I ever on a search for my new special person or family. There is a good chance I may not make it otherwise. I have been in the Silver City, NM shelter since August 25th 2020 when I was said to be about 7 months old at that time. My former family turned me in because they had too many kids. Apparently I was one of them and because of my enthusiasm and need for fun and attention, too, I ended up at the orphanage instead of one of their two-legged kids. I sure did not think that was fair but here I have been since. The interesting thing is that I have grown so much and am now a very handsome mix of some unknown breeds. Some say Lab for sure but then there may be Great Dane or Boxer? I have become tall, long-legged, sleek, and strong with great youngster-energy. I know I would make a fabulous pal or family member with an active agenda. I am learning to sit, eager to please, and really want to learn more. I love walks and am pretty good on a leash now. I get along with other dogs and kids as well as adults and I am not too interested in cats when I have met them. I currently weigh 75 pounds, am neutered, and up to date in all of my shots so I can go home with you without delay as of Thursday, December 31st. I would make the perfect New Year's gift for happiness. If you have further questions about me my friend Sam is eager to help, 505-231-9080. Please call or text her so you can connect. Thank you from my tender, happy heart, PEPPER.
