About Honey

My name is Honey, I'm an exotic breed called, Mixed Breed. Everyone tells my Mom I'm incredibly beautiful which she agrees. I have strawberry blonde hair that doesn't even shed. I'm supposedly only one and a half year old but never got to enjoy my youth so I'm making up for it now. I LOVE to go for walks, runs, playtime, rides in the car and take naps in the sun or with Mom & Dad. I'm up for just about anything except I don't like to be crated or left alone for too long. Although I'm very quiet in a crate I've learned to escape even the best of them after a few hours alone. I get board when I'm alone and find boxes, books and napkins to eat. It reminds me when I was pregnant with no food for any of us in a house of 25 dogs. Mom says she could see nothing but bones and fur when we first met. Now my puppies have moved out and seen the vet a few times my figure is better than ever. I eat 6 cups of dog food a day and am still hungry all the time but I'll get better soon, now I've been dewormed. I got lucky once after I was living outside on the cold, I was pregnant, and literally starving to death. Originally I was in an abusive and neglectful home my second Foster mom took in my pups and me. She nursed all of us back to health with food, medicine and lots of love. I'm praying I can get lucky and find the right family who knows that I'm going to be with you for 10-14 (ish) years. I've already had 3 plus homes and need one family and one indoor place with a family who'll appreciate my activity, neediness and fun loving spirit. Luckily I've gotten past most of my distrust from humans hurting me. After everything I've been through I'm ready to be loved and love again for my lifetime. Mom says I don't understand my size, am a little clumsy, have a whip for a tail and forget to not walk on the other little dogs. When I get to go potty I hop like a kangaroo then get the Zoomies. Everyone laughs until I ran up and over a 6' fence...more than once. Mom said I was looking for my puppies who disappeared. I'm better now. I would love to hear who needs a wonderful addition to their family. I have a fierce warning bark when strangers knock with a keen ear.
