About Atticus 'Atti'

Atticus was rescued on the side of the road and it appeared he had been abused. He had several lacerations on his head and neck. He was picked up by someone and taken to an emergency clinic where he had to be hospitalized over night with an IV catheter and fluids and had to have some wound care. Atti has done amazing in recovering although, he will have some scars. Atti is Heartworm negative and has been started on prevention, as well as his Rabies vaccine is current. We have been unable to get him neutered due to covid restrictions. He weighs about 50 pounds and is the sweetest boy. We have another dog in the household and he does well with her although we have to keep them separated because she is not always the friendliest. He loves to take naps and will sleep all day if you are having a lazy day but he also enjoys his walks around the neighborhood. Atti has alot to learn as it seems he hasn't been in a disciplined household (most likely he has just been a backyard dog with no socialization) but so far, quickly, he has learned how to sit and use the doggy door with no issues. He does seem to be potty trained though as he hasn't had any accidents in the house. If you would like any additional information please don't hesitate to call.
