About Amara

VERY URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPT! Amara is so gentle that the shelter was using her to test dogs as they come in. This 50 pound 4 year old is fawn-like, submissive, loves other dogs. She is beautiful, smart and wants only to be close. Amara is heartworm positive but we will pay for her treatment in NC So the adapter needs to be in North Carolina...no longer a deal breaker and certainly not for this super sweet pup. Fenced yard absolutely required since she is a hound and will follow her nose. She needs to learn some hosue manners since she was likely an outside dog. But she is responding well to hosuetraining. She seems curious about cats but not that interested. Pls apply fast since this sweet gal is running out of time in a packed rural shelter.
