We have had Nicholas for almost 6 years. He has many nicknames, but the most often used is Nickel. We adopted him from a high kill shelter in our area January of 2015. The vet said he was about 18 months when we adopted him, so he should be around 7, 7 and a half years old. He is the sweetest most loving dog to those who he is closest too and trusts. He is a skittish dog and we do not know if he was abused prior to us adopting him or not. His skittishness can cause a little aggression. He is NOT good with young children because they make him nervous. We have observed him being fine with many other dogs, but he is not good with cats. He seems to prefer women to men, but would accept an adult male in the family. He is healthy and up-to-date on all shots. Neutered and microchipped. He loves to curl up on the furniture and sleep in your bed if you'll let him. He loves cuddles. His fur is so very soft. It breaks our hearts to have to re-home him But we have a 3 year old and he can no longer stay here. Please consider this beautiful animal!
