About Ares

Ares needs a new home after the family that had him since he was a puppy was forced to rehome him due to their own situation. He's a handsome, green-eyed 3-4 year old dog who grew up with a toddler. He's gentle around kids but doesn't like when they touch his face. He deserves a good home that will love him for the rest of his years! From his current foster home: He weighs 61 pounds, neutered male. He is very people friendly, and gets excited and jumps when greeting people. He is a cuddle bug and likes to lie next to you on the couch. He walks well on a leash. He knows basic commands and is a very fast learner. When other dogs are around, he does not show much interest at all but is not very socialized in an unleashed environment. He is learning to play, enjoys rug rope and fetch. We are working on release commands. He does not like loud voices. He cowers if you raise your voice or hands.
