In need of a special home. Read carefully her breed is not an option to select. Our beautiful Maggie is 100 % Central Asian Shepherd Dog, roughly 80lbs, a year old; she is at a very trainable age. Asian Shepherd's are self-assured, balanced, quiet, proud and independent. They are a working dog so she would love a yard and someone willing to walk/play with her. She is a goofy girl, all legs. Maggie is ok with other dogs but she needs to learn how to play with them. She'll do fine as an only dog or with another large gentle dog. Cats she wants to play with, correctable but may be best without them. She is a big puppy working on commands she knows how to sit, but this silly girl sometimes lays down for a belly rub instead. LOL Dogs live in the moment. Unfortunately Maggie will have fewer moments then many, but will you be the person to make those moments awesome for her? She is deserving of a home that can give her all the attention possible. Maggie has a condition called Subaortic Stenosis which makes her life expectancy only 3 to 5 years. She will need to be on a medication called Atenolol, which is fairly cheap, daily for the rest of her life. She has been spayed, micro chipped, vaccinated, and is on HW/Flea preventatives.
