About Penguin

2 YEARS at the SHELTER! Have a lucky penny to spare? How about a 4 leaf clover? If there's ever a dog who could use a little luck, or a hero, it's PENGUIN. He's had a run of bad luck lately. Once a happy, easy going pup, he's now hesitant of new situations. Can you blame him? Those entrusted to keep him safe didn't. PENGUIN was kept in a stressful situation where he was attacked & injured by the resident dog. His salvation has been the shelter, but being in a kennel for months has its own challenges. Kennel life is difficult esp for a sensitive, wannabe couch potato, companion kind of guy like PENGUIN! PENGUIN loves people. He likes to go for walks, but would prefer to sit with you & hang out instead. He enjoys toys. Loves car rides & makes a great copilot. When he feels happy & safe, he smiles! What would give him the biggest smile, tho, is if a dog savvy hero would come forward & say, 'It's ok. I'm taking you home with me & we'll make it work'.
