Alfie is roughly 9 years old but approaches the world with the perspective of a puppy. This is because he came out of a bad situation, in which he spent his entire life in a crate. This doesn't mean that he isn't all jack though, just that it will take time to earn his trust. He is still trying to learn potty training and is very clingy to his human outdoors or in large spaces as they can be overwhelming at times. Sunspots are a wonderful thing and have quickly become his favorite thing in the world. Toys are not something he understands, nor is obedience. He will require a home with patience and understanding, as a raised voice will send him for his 'safe space' faster than anything else. He is not food aggressive but doesn't know when to stop either. Yes, those are tusks that you see, and they are two of his three teeth, but it doesn't slow him down. He is neutered, heartworm free, and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He is good with other dogs, cats are unknown. He will not jump into your arms, but if picked up, will sag into them and enjoy snuggles once given, though this will likely change with time and trust. Please consider helping Alfie understand how good the world can be outside of a small crate. Www.russellrescue.com/adoption
