Baby Rottweiler Mix Female 8 years old 82 lbs. Hey there, I'm Baby, a sweet, loving dog who is happiest being where my person is. I've learned a lot about trusting people again in my foster home and I can't wait to find a quiet, experienced human (or two!) who can give me all the love and adoration I so much deserve. I have a pretty medium amount of energy and will be active when you feel like being active, but will laze about if you're relaxing. I also have a nice voice and like to sing along with passing ambulances. I love to play tug and chew on my toys, but cuddling with my people is the best. I do fine when my foster parents are away from the house but I just love when they're home to give me all the love. I do bond really well with my humans and am affectionate and happy overall. However, new people still make me nervous and I need a slow introduction to new people overall. I've learned SO much in my foster home and my foster parents really helped me build confidence with treats, redirection, and other positive reinforcement training. However, I can be reactive to strangers walking by me (men more so than women) so I need thoughtful management on walks and a slow introduction to visitors in the house (once I trust you in the house, I'm great!) I also need to be in a home where there are adults only since my need to warm up isn't the right match for kids. I'm also really uncomfortable at vet visits so I need an understanding vet and a thoughtful plan for any vet visits. I also am not a fan of other dogs and react to them when I'm on leash and in the house. Therefore, I need to be the only animal in the home and I can't be in an apartment as I need that private yard space where I can relax and not interact with other dogs.
