About Freya

Golden Retriever
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Freya is a purebred Golden Retriever puppy that was relinquished to us with many other pets in her household after a parvo outbreak. Freya was fortunate and tested negative for Parvo but did test positive for coccidia which she is now fully recovered from. Freya is a perfect family dog and loves absolutely everyone she meets. She is a fast learner and already knows her basic commands and is housebroken. She already has a love for water and is comfortable in a kayak. She is the life of the party and ready for a forever home of her own. Due to the overwhelming response we expect to receive on Freya, we do need a completed application submitted before going back and forth answering questions with prospective adopters as we just don't have the manpower to respond to thousands of inquiries. For those of you that take the time to fill out an application we will then take the time to open up dialogue with you as we have found the demand for this breed and be overwhelming and we have many other dogs we are also trying to place. Any and all inquiries should get an immediate canned response with our application attached to it. Applications can also be found on our website miraclefoundationsd.org. Please make sure to read through everything first as we do require a $25 application fee which covers a basic background check and verify's applicants address. Where local homes are preferred, we will consider homes out of the area as long as potential applicants are willing to pick up the dog in person. We will not allow any of our dogs to be shipped or put on transport. When submitting your application please include a letter describing your home and and family and the life that Freya could expect with you. We do not have a set adoption fee for Freya and her adoption fee will be on a donation basis. Please keep in mind dogs like Freya are in high demand and it's through the generosity of our donors that we are able to help other dogs like her. Freya came in with 4 other dogs and between the five of them our vet bills are through the roof and where we are not expecting to recoup everything its through generous donations we are able to continue the work that we do. In your letter please let us know what kind of donation you would be willing to make should you adopt. If you are unable to make a donation or think a donation of $20 will suffice, then please understand we would have to stop rescuing if we cannot recoup some of our losses. Because of Freya's young age she is not currently spayed and will either be spayed right before going to her new home or adopted out on a spay contract.
