Adoption info can be found in the last paragraph of this pet's profile or by visiting this direct link: https://www.dfwpuppatrol.com/info/adoption Rocco is a super sweet Pitty boy who found himself in a rural high kill shelter. Some volunteers networked him to help him get seen and a volunteer for Pup Patrol offered to foster so we got him out! Rocco is around 2 years old and weighs a little over 50 lbs. He has undergone heart worm treatment and is now healthy and ready to find his forever home! He is a pretty laid back dude for the most part, but he does suffer with containment phobia and hates to be crated. Currently his foster mom leaves him loose in the house while she's at work and although he likes to check out what's in the trash can occasionally, other than that he does fine. Rocco has been introduced to other dogs and really doesn't pay them much mind. He will be fine in a home as an only dog or with other doggy companions. No cats though...he is not a fan. Rocco is good with children although he doesn't respect their space and might knock little ones over. He has been working on his manners and will even sit and wait before going outside. He loves his walks and does pretty well on leash. He is a super sweet guy who loves attention and will whine to get it.
