About Belle

Belle is a sweet, fun-loving, active, Redtick Coonhound. She is about 2 years old, weighs 45lbs, is house broken, and loves to play most of the day, but knows the fine quality of a good nap. Belle would do best in a home with NO dogs, NO cats, and NO small children. She does have some separation anxiety and boundary anxiety but is attentive and in training to trust that her human will return. She is not completely crate trained, but is getting better with it. Her perfect situation is someone with Coonhound experience that is home all day long and can give her the attention and continued training she needs. She is smart, loving and very cuddly. Belle listens very well to commands she knows and is doing very well with behavior and command training. She is going to do best with continued training and plenty of activity. She is good on walks with a harness and could be a great running partner. Belle's favorite thing to do is run around the back yard with her favorite toy in her mouth for a while, then sit by your side at night while you watch TV. She is initially friendly with dogs but due to signal confusion, she should not live with other dogs.
