About Kaya

Kaya is a strikingly beautiful ginger 3 YR old purebred Siberian Husky with piercing part-colored eyes. She was found living in a village as a stray in Azerbaijan (former Russia). Dumping of huskies is very commonplace in Azerbaijan, and has nothing to do with the dog's temperament, and everything to do with awful owners who buy huskies as puppies from breeders and dump them when they become adults. She is housebroken, super sweet, gentle, soft and food motivated. She would do best in a home with another husky to have as a playmate, or she can easily be the center of attention as the sole dog in the home. She flew into the US this February and is now living in a foster home with a male husky, a female pitbull, a hound mix, and four cats. No food aggression, good with cats. Some lucky family is going to find a lot of joy with this show-stopping conversation starter! Her adoption fee is $750 which is to help with her flight costs which were over 2k.
