About Willie

Willie is free as a dog can safely be! This approx. 8 mo. Border Collie mix pup, is in Paso Robles. He's now neutered, has current vaccinations and micro-chipped. Willie was a stray in Kerman a couple months ago. Just a baby. It seemed he had no human experience. No leash experience and so frightened. Nice dog, but kinda feral. Willie didn't have a chance if he went into this little rural shelter. The director reached out to the best, Kalyn. She contacted me, explained and offered to keep Willie until he could get in here. Kalyn got him walking on a leash and follow her along without one. She says he's only a reliable as the dog he's running with, but we'll take it! There's lots of dogs that have good recall here, and we'll teach Willie! He's here now and great with my entire pack. He's a just kid! He's a little shy, but once he's on a leash he's your dog. He'll need some attention to get him comfortable, but he's happy and excited about life! I'm looking for a home with another dog though. Help show Willie the way!
