About Toffee

Lab / Boxer
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

Name: Toffee Sex: Female Breed: Lab/Boxer Mix Age: 6 yrs Weight: TBD Needs a PET FREE home If you want company with your meal, Toffee will be there. She is usually in the kitchen if a meal is being prepared. She has a very soft mouth when she takes little pieces of broccoli or carrots and will lie down in her bed to keep an eye on meal preparation. If asked, she will sit nicely for a treat and even shake your hand. Toffee loves being in the backyard whether just to bask in the sun or run full-out around the perimeter in a burst of energy and she will chase a ball but has never been convinced to bring it back. She loves tug of war and chasing squirrels that get near the bird feeder. If a fly gets in the house, she will do her best to catch it in mid-air. She loves to sit outdoors with you in the evenings and just stares into the dark. Toffee can be dog selective and a home without other pets would be best for her. Toffee is energetic during the day when she isn't napping or looking out an upstairs window watching neighborhood children fly by on their bikes or skateboards or barking at dogs. She has a basket of well-used stuffed animals that never stay in one piece for long. In the evening, she will snuggle on the couch in front of a fire, and she loves kisses and hugs. She used to scratch a lot, but this has been addressed with salmon oil in her food. She barks at the vacuum cleaner, and when the mail carrier drops off the mail, she hopes the mail will come through the slot in the door so she can rip it up. Otherwise, Toffee is not much of a barker. When you leave the house without her, she can give you a very mournful stare.
