Loving, playful & affectionate, everyone meet our #Queen #WiggleButt Ms. #Nala. She's 4 years old, 55lbs, and an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. At the end of the day, Nala is honestly just the biggest lover that you'll ever meet. Nala craves human companionship, loves her daily walks, enjoys sunbathing in the backyard, lives for belly rubs, she's all about cuddles & movie nights & loves to give big kisses. She's 100% potty trained, 100% crate trained and does well on a leash. Nala knows all of her basic commands and is very eager to please. The perfect family for Nala would be one that is active, loves the outdoors, an avid runner or someone who loves going on daily walks, and definitely a family that loves cuddles & puppy kisses. When it comes to people, Nala loves everyone she meets! She loves & adores children and would make the perfect family pet. She'd do best in a home with kids over 10 years of age because at times she doesn't always understand her strength. Nala would thrive best as the only dog in her furever home, although she has made a few friends while in our care. Nala does not do well with female dogs, but does well with submissive male dogs with a proper introduction. But once again, we would like her to be the only dog in her forever home. Nala absolutely adores the cat that is currently in her foster home- especially when it comes to cuddle time. Her adoption fee is $150 & will include her distemper, rabies, bordetella, parvo, & lepto vaccines; deworming; microchip; heartworm test; fecal test & being fixed. Nala is currently on both flea & tick prevention and has had her ProHeart 6 Injection for heartworm prevention. ***PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST & FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS**** Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue; previously known as the PRO-PET-OTIC Foundation, is a 100% Foster-Based Rescue that is ran by all Volunteers. Which means that we are not a shelter & each animal is in an actual home with a foster family. We kindly ask that you put any questions within the email & our team of Volunteers will get back to you. The application MUST BE filled out, a Vet Check MUST BE completed by our team, as well as a phone interview before we do a 'Meet N Greet.' Once you have completed the application, please print it out, fill it out, scan it, & then email it back to [email protected]. If you do not have a scanner, please take a picture with your phone and we kindly ask that you sent all attachments into one email. 3. Please make sure to call your vet to grant our organization permission to do a vet check on your current pet. 4. If you are interested in more than one dog, please list your top 3 choices on the completed application. 5. Please be honest & truthful on your application. We always do a vet Check.
