About Maggie

Maggie (pictured here) & Gabe have lived in a basement apartment for the past 7 years until recently abuse by their owners parents escalated. Their owner took her children and fled but where she foundr safety would not allow the dogs and unfortunately her parents gave her 24 hours to pickup the dogs or they would let them loose in the streets. That is when I stepped in and took them into my home until these two dogs could find a better life. I am unable to house Maggie ( 7 year old, spayed female) & Gabe (7 year old neutered male) long term due to Maggie's obsession with my cat and her prey drive, she has already outsmarted the baby gates, so it is becoming more stressful in the household. I adore her but it is not fair to Maggie or my cat. Maggie and Gabe are both great, loving dogs and I would love for them to stay together if possible as a bonded pair. Regarding their medical care, I have had their records sent to me from their previous vet, I took them in for a check up, flea treatment and vaccines at Shenandoah Veterinary Hospital in Martinsburg, WV. They have been the groomer. I also bought them coats, beds, and other essentials to ensure their proper care.
