About Buddy

Hi I'm Buddy! I am a sweet, 2 year old Belgian Malinois mix looking for my forever home! I was going to be put down when I was just 1 year old because my mom was sick and couldn't take care of me anymore. That's when my foster family met me and decided I needed another chance at life! I am house trained, and know how to use a doggy door. I know how to sit, shake, lie down and wait. I am not food aggressive with people or with other dogs. I love people so much, it would make me so happy to live with someone who spends a lot of time at home. I do not like staying in a crate, I would feel much happier laying quietly at your feet. I live with 3 other dogs friends right now, but I would be happier if I was the alpha dog of the house or possibly the only dog in the house. I have never lived with cats or children. However, I have met children that visit my house and I have been very nice, but I do get excited. I may be a better fit for a family with older children who are familiar with dogs. I am an active dog who love to exercise. I am leash and harness trained and makes a fantastic running companion! I also love spending time in my fenced yard, basking in the sunshine and watching the birds. I really want a fenced yard at my new house, so I don't accidentally get lost! My ideal family would be one with a devoted, active companion that I can bond with. I will be loyal to you and your home, and become your best friend. My foster family loves me so much, they are so proud I have become such a smart, dashing young dog, I can't wait to find my forever family!!!
