About Zena

Looking to find a perfect home for a black and tan/tree walking coonhound. She showed up at our house at 3 months old October 8 2019. She is now 1 year and 5 months. She was skin and bones. She had health problems so we have kept her to rehabilitate her. She now has no health problems is caught up on almost all her shots. She has been around other dogs and cats and is good with them. She has been on opposite fences around horses, ducks, chickens, pigs, and goats. She is spayed and microchippped . I don't think she is fit around younger kids as she has growled at 2 kids while she has been eating but has never bit anyone. She is crate trained. Is pretty good with recall once she understands her boundaries of the yard.(we don't have a fenced in yard) looking for someone that will be a better fit for her as our home is not. The picture is of her when she first showed up at our house. I can send more updated pictures of her at request. She has never been hunting so not sure how she would do. With training and others dogs to help teach her I think she would be great.
