About Peyton

Adoption Fee: $350
Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Laidback, Gentle, & Sweet, everyone meet #Peyton. She's a 3-4 year old Black Lab mix who weighs in at 63 lbs. Peyton plays hard to get at first, but once she warms up all she'll want is to cuddle by your side. Peyton is great with other dogs, non reactivate to cats & good with kids. Although she's good with kids, we prefer her forever home to have a calm, quiet environment. Peyton is very fearful when it comes to meeting new people, but once you gain her trust she will completely steal your heart. Peyton would thrive best with a couple who is early-on retired or no longer have kids in their home. Parents who are active and can take her on the daily walks that she loves and craves. Peyton is 100% potty trained, 100% crate trained & getting better on a leash. Upon intake, Peyton was both pregnant and heartworm positive. She gave birth to 3 beautiful puppies and was the best mama. All 3 pups have been adopted out to their forever homes. Peyton then started her heartworm treatment and just finished her last round of injections for her treatment. Now that Peyton has finished her treatment, she is now looking for her forever home. Adoption #Requirements: No Exceptions - Fenced in Yard Required - No kids under the age of 18 (no exceptions), Peyton needs a laid back home - Peyton needs someone who will help her overcome her fears - Peyton's new home must have another dog for her to bond with Peyton is currently up for adoption through Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue. Peyton is currently on both flea & tick and has had her ProHeart 6 Injection for heartworm prevention. Now that Peyton has completed her heartworm treatment, she can finally go to her forever home. Her adoption fee will include her 6 month check up at our rescues full service veterinarian to be retested for heartworm.
