About Pancho

Adoption Fee: $150.00
Chihuahua
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Hi my name is Pancho! I was rescued from a local shelter after I was found wandering the streets in the country. I'm not sure how I ended up there because I'm the sweetest little lap dog! I don't have any teeth so it's hard to tell how old I am but I think about 10-12 years old. Don't let that scare you, I received a clean bill of health from the doctor! My eyes are a little cloudy like us old guys get but I can still see it's just a little fuzzy. I need some doggie glasses if that were a real thing! Sometimes I don't hear as well either but I definitely hear high pitched sounds and I always hear the food when it's dinner time! Since I don't have any teeth my foster mom gives me the good stuff that's nice and soft for me to eat. My favorite is the Cesar's pate. They should hire me for the cover! Other than that my organs are healthy and my bloodwork is perfect. Now that all that stuff is out of the way I like to spend my days sleeping on the couch or the dog bed. I'm also very observant like the nosey neighbor and I always want to know what's going on. Because of that my foster mom has to be very careful at the front door because I just want to go check everything out. I'm not very fast though! I do great with all the other dogs in my foster home but I can be a little bossy sometimes. I know I'm supposed to potty outside but I'm small at only 6 lbs so I have to go often. I know how to use the potty pads just in case I can't hold it. They call me a senior but I'm young at heart! If you are looking for a sweet lap dog I am your guy! Pancho is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $150.00. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]. Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
