About Finn

I found this sweet man on the busy road by my house. I almost ran him over! I did some investigating and found where he is from. The neighbors where he was found said that he is a stray that they have been feeding since his owners left him when he was a puppy! They also told me that he has never been an indoor dog and he is around 1. So I took him because he was going to get killed by a car and was covered in fleas and had a few ticks...and I couldn't leave him like that. He deserves to be in a loving home! For being a stray and never really having a home he is the sweetest dog! As soon as he is spoken to or touched he just melts and rolls over for belly rubs and shows complete gratefulness. He loves to be super close and to cuddle! I have 2 little kids and he is very sweet and gentle with them! I can tell being indoors is a tiny bit scary and new but he is getting used to it. I considered keeping him myself but I have 3 dogs..and a cat and I just can't handle another dog financially. He is great with my puppy, senior dog, and large dog...but he is not good with my cat. He has not hurt the cat but he has chased him multiple times and snapped at him once. Finn is very receptive when corrected so he has potential for this issue to be fixed but with a puppy, kids, and working i do not have the time or energy to address it. I took him to my vet for a small exam and besides a skin rash from fleas he is in good health. The rash is being treated and clearing up! Heartworm negative as well! Finn deserves a great home indoors and I hope I can find him one where he will receive lots of love and affection. He melts my heart and I'm sure he will melt is future owners heart!
