%9D%A4%90%BE HELP US HELP THIS DOG! %9D%A4%90%BE BROOKLYN, NY: These sweet handsome senior, Diablo, URGENTLY needs a home/rescue! For more info please follow the link below. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1430428353810097&id=112453902274222 Sweetness in a gorgeous 84 pound gray doll of a dog. This is Diablo, he was surrendered with his twin brother Diesel (Diesel has been rescued!). They are both well mannered mellow boys. They were outdoor dogs. We don't know why their owners surrendered them in the autumn of their lives, but the ACC is not a place for senior dogs like them. Let's not wait for them to get sick. Please share! INTAKE DATE 10/13/2020 DIABL0 103126 BROOKLYN ACC Estimated to be 11 years old, 84 Lbs NEUTERED MALE, LARGE MIXED BREED OWNER SURR FROM NY MEDICAL BEHAVIOR EVALUATION: BEHAVIOR RATING: LEVEL 1 VOLUNTEER NOTES I like to believe that every shelter dog likes me, but who knows if that's always true. Dogs have preferences just like us. But it's safe to say that Diablo had a thing for me immediately. Rachel (another volunteer) took this 84-pound gentle giant out for a walk and when I caught up to them, Diablo promptly buried his huge head in my lap. With a greeting like that, he had me at hello. We put a big Halloween pumpkin bow tie on Diablo and it suits him. This guy's goofy face was made for bow ties. He's so sweet throughout our photo session, alternating between cuddling and looking handsome for the camera. (If you adopt him, I must insist that you buy him a wardrobe of bow ties). I'm quite smitten with this dog! Diablo is 11 years old and lived with his person since he was a pup. He also peacefully lived with another large dog. Diablo is an easy-going dude and seems unbothered by other dogs at the Care Center. He hasn't spent time with kids or cats and the shelter thinks he'll be most successful in a home with kids over 5 years old. Diablo has some mild skin issues and needs to see a doggie dentist. If you're interested in adopting or fostering this dapper devil, email [email protected]. Diablo's ID is #103126.
