About TANDY

HI - I'M TANDY! I'm a sweet and kind 7-year-old female German Shepherd mix in need of a new home. I lost my home after my owner passed away, so was a bit sad for awhile, but now I'm in a wonderful Seattle-area foster home and my foster mom is great! I was tested with both male and female dogs and did well, though I'm just a bit shy. I would do well with a single person, a couple, or a family with older kids (over 12 approx.), and in a quiet home where I can be loved, and be the center of attention, which is so what I deserve. I'm an absolute dream to walk on a leash, and will look to my human as the guide. I love squeaky toys, and being petted for affection - I will give you my paw to let you know it's not time to stop! I'm as gentle as can be, and a quiet girl. When I get dressed to go out I do a little dance because I get so excited. But still, I sit patiently to get leashed up. I'm still a little nervous around new people and places, but I build my confidence quickly, with a patient human as my guide. I absolutely love to cuddle. Once I bond with you, I will follow you all over the house because I find you fascinating! I'm still getting used to riding in cars, but once we're on the road, I either take a nap, or remain quiet until we reach our destination. I'm a super sweet and loving and easygoing girl who will make a wonderful companion. Can you adopt me? I weigh only 52 lbs.
