About Tinsel

This cutie is Tinsel, he is about 5 years old and weighs about 14 lbs. His story is quite sad, so grab a tissue. He is one of those rescues that makes you want to reach out and hold him forever. His story starts when he was a cute little puppy in a shelter. A family came and picked out Tinsel for their kids to have a friend to grow up with and be a part of the family. Tinsel was a part of the family for 4 years until the family broke apart and kids and mom moved away. Tinsel was left with dad who saw his kids every time he saw him. So Tinsel got put outside, first during the day but later on he was left out all night. He cried and was soon changed to a tree where he stayed day and night until a neighbor could not stand seeing or hearing Tinsel and called the authorities. Tinsel was finally free, but also not free at the same time. He was taken to the local shelter where he was put on a list to be euthanized. A shelter worker who knew his story called us to help him find a home. Tinsel is now in Colorado ready to start a new life. He is a complete sweetheart and would love to find a home that will take him and give him a safe place to live. Tinsel is hoping to find a family he can fit in with - he is a great little guy!!
