About Mila

Mila is a darling 1 year old Chihuahua mix who is looking for a loving forever family to go at her pace and let her learn what love is all about! Mila is shy with new people, but loyal with those she loves and just needs gentle love while she warms up and comes around. Mila has previously lived with children 10 and up, but will need dog savvy children who understand to be gentle and move slow until Mila is comfortable. Mila has separation anxiety when her people leave and may cry when left alone, so she would need a home not an apartment and will benefit from having someone home more often than not. Mila will need a back yard to run in as she is a very active girl. She knows 'sit' and loves car rides! Mila would be good on walks once she adjusts and is happy to meet another dog before adoption. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, vet checked, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $280, and comes with a complimentary vet visit. To meet her, come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
