About Melly

Description of pet Hello my name is Melly and I was rescued from some people who said they were taking me to the county shelter because they didn't want me. I was scared and didn't know what was going to happen to me until this nice lady came and picked me up and let me stay in her home. My rescue had me checked out at the vet and I was given my shots and checked over good and they said I'm in good health. I am only 8 months old and I'm 43 pounds. I have a unique color that is a grayish brown color and I'm believed to be a Weimaraner/Lab mix. I love being around other dogs and cats and I'm kid friendly and very gentle and sweet with them. I enjoy running around outside playing but when I get tired I like to come in and lay on the sofa. I feel secure and comfortable in my crate and will go in willingly since I know it's my safe place. I'm scared of loud noises and cars right now. My foster mom said I'm still a little skittish with fast moments but I'm slowly becoming more comfortable each day. I am very submissive to both humans and other animals but once I warm up to them I just want to play any chance I get. I'm still a puppy and a very sweet and loving boy. I really wish I could stay where I am now but they can't take on another animal at this time and fostering me so I wouldn't have went to the animal shelter. I would really like my very own home before Christmas but I need your help sharing me. Please help me find my new home before Christmas. I dream of my stocking with my name on it hung at the fireplace and getting lots of toys and love at Christmas. Please share me to help find me my forever family. Love Melly
