About Aries

German Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Aries! He is estimated to be a 1-3 year old shepherd mix that weighs approximately 50 pounds. While he can be a bit cautious at first, once he realizes you are a safe person, he will reveal his sweet and loving side. Aries loves laying on his cot while basking in the sun. He is learning to love toys but prefers to chew on his bone. He is housebroken and crate trained. Aries is good with other dogs of all sizes. His current foster home does not have cats, but it is believed he would do fine with them. We would not recommend small kids in the home due to needing a calm environment so that he can build his confidence. Aries is slowly coming out of his shell and will do anything for a treat. He is working on basic commands and leash walking. He does really well on car rides. Aries is an incredibly sweet boy that would complete any family that will give him the time and patience that he needs. Aries is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and being fostered in New Freedom, PA. We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $300 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $350 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.
