About ABBY & BELLA

Bella and Abby are a delightful pair of Scottish Terrier mix girls. They came to rescue because their owner could no longer care for them. Bella is a 6yr old Scotty/Poodle mix and she's a big lovebug - a short sturdy lady about 25 pounds. She is truly a sweetheart, gentle, and while she's quite the camera ham, she graciously takes a backseat to her 'big sister' Abby (roughly 15 pounds) who likes to steal the spotlight with a toy to fetch or playing tug'o war (she's REALLY good at it). If the humans aren't interacting and throwing a toy, Bella and Abby will play together and do the puppy pounce at each other... adorable to watch. These ladies are quite the spunky duo. Initially we thought Abby was about 12 years old but from watching her activity level and how she plays, we're guessing she's more like 9-10 years old. She's probably a Scotty/Yorkie mix and within moments of knowing her, she'll show you that she's a very smart ball player. They would love daily walks, a nice yard with some grass (even if fake), and people to love ...they're so easy to have around! Bella and Abby are okay with other dogs but having been together for many years, it would likely be best that come into a home as the only two dogs so that their dynamic doesn't change. They're just perfect the way they are. Any children in the home should be at least 12 years old, and we don't think cats would be good in the mix. Adoption fee for the pair is $400. Both girls had recent dentals, they're microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Abby does have a little dry-eye that may need daily eyedrops to help keep it clear. They'll also each have their own collar and ID tag, harness and leash. Move-in ready!
