About FABIO (west)

Hi, my name is FABIO - ID#A4499290. I am a neutered male, brown and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Nov 14, 2020. Fabio is his name, but he's timid and unsure so I call him Nervous Nelson instead of Nervous Nellie. Unlike the human Fabio who has confidence, this dog Fabio needs some extra love and patience for him to learn that people can show kindness. Fabio was really good with walking on a leash. We took a break on our walk to sit down and enjoy the quiet outdoors away from the shelter. He's very gentle taking treats too. He's not quite sure how to be around me so I just let him look around and listen to the birds. Fabio was not real interested in other dogs.
