About Kolby

My Name's Kolby. I'm new to Arizona and I'm looking for a new family and home. I'm 3 years old and blind because of some autoimmune thing, but I'm better now. I think my hearing and sense of smell are beginning to make up for my blindness, because I can get around pretty good and getting better, especially with a little help. I've been walking a couple miles to the park (I love walks) and know that when my walking partner gently pulls on my leash, it's to keep me from walking into something or tripping. All the people I've met here are really nice, but I still don't trust other dogs, so I'd love to be the only dog in the house. My walking buddy put these goggle things on my head, I don't know why, but if it makes him happy, then I'm cool with it. The people at the Furshire are really nice, but I still like visitors and I'm a good listener if you just want to talk. I know that Akita's like me aren't for everyone, but I'm looking for someone special that can understand me. I'd be the most loyal friend you could imagine until my last breath if given a chance. If you think you'd like to meet me, just talk to the rescue people.
