My namesake is one of the original American Supermodels!! Just like the original Cheryl, I am stunningly gorgeous and can't take a bad photo!! Foster Mum says that no matter the angle or lighting, I am one photogenic duchess! Besides being a show stopper, I am very sweet and love hoomans.. And, I love getting hugs and scritches.....Awwww..so nice to be loved!! For a quiet evening in, my choice is to snug down on the couch in front of the fire watching Turner Classics! (Ok, you can be in charge of the remote; it doesn't Always have to be a Turner Classic :) My hairytage is awesome; I am of Great Dane ancestry. Although some might assume that the Great Dane is from Denmark, they actually originated in Germany. Originally bred as a hunting dogs, today Great Danes are known as gentle giants. As hunting became less popular, the breed evolved from hunters to show dogs. The fight has been bred out of the canines, and now modern day Danes prefer a more leisurely lifestyle. In fact, the docile pooches make good additions to families and are rarely aggressive. I have a super short, sleek, and low (or non) shedding 'Harlequin' coat, legs for miles (great for my modeling career), and a naturally regal bearing. I could walk the 'cat walk' (or should I say, 'dog walk' ? :) immediately with absolutely no additional training...just doing what comes naturally! I get along great with the other dogs at my foster family's home. My movement is more of a float than a walk, so I guess I 'float' nicely on a leash!! I love going for 'floats' and sharing the time with my hooman. I am intelligent, faithful and devoted young lady. My original family bought me from a breeder when I was just a wee Fraulein and raised me with love and attention. I was only just surrendered with many tears and sad farewells because I developed the bad habit of chasing chickens. So, in my new home, no chickens, please, I am very sad to lose one family and don't want to ever have to go through this again!! At only 8 months old and 60 pounds, I have some growing to do to attain my full adult stature. Please know that I am not just another pretty face; I am just a very large puppy that needs a hooman/couple/ or family to guide and nurture me to become my best self. Could that be you?
