About Georgia

Georgia will be 2 in February 2021 and weighs approx. 50 lbs. We purchased her and her brother at 8 weeks old thinking we would have our home built where we have acreage but we have not been able to move forward with our plans. We live in a deed restricted community and our property is 25 miles away so they don't get to run like they love too. They have torn up our entire backyard running and playing and have become too much for us to handle both of them. Georgia is very sweet and extremely smart and loves attention. She knows some commands; sit, fetch, get it, drop.it, down, stay... sometimes! She loves to play... pretty much sticks right by your side and walks on a leash too. She is a typical Australian Cattle Dog and loves to herd us, her brother and our 11 yo Chihuahua. She is a wonderful pet on her own but very competitive with her sibling. With the right owner and space she can become an excellent pet and working dog. A friend wanted me to get her involved in barn hunts but we haven't got the time. We have all her paperwork. She is AKC but we have not registered her as we did not plan to breed her and have had her spayed. She is up to date with all her shots (11/30/20) and is on heartworm preventive which she has a prescription for. We put them through the PetSmart Puppy Plan for their first year and I have all her shot records, DNA, etc. We are very interested in finding her the perfect home where she will get all of the attention she deserves and plenty of wide-open spaces to run!
