About Claire

Welcome Claire to CCPAL Rescue. She is a beautiful 1.5-year-old Vizsla mix dog. She has the look of this breed so this is what we believe her to be. She is lower shed on the shed scale and has the low coat. This is a bonus for people who don't like all the tufts of hair that some dogs shed. She has gorgeous green eyes. She is a scenting dog so a fenced yard will be needed. She may scent herself away from home. She is wonderful with all people and trusting of strangers. She would make a great family dog. She can go to a family with kiddos. We like 8 or older. She is friendly with other dogs and has a very puppyish personality. She is decent on a leash, fine in a car and does great in a crate. She is currently here in Texas at the Rescue. She does well with other dogs and her bestie at the rescue is Roxy. She weighs about 45 pounds and may fill out some but a nice-looking weight. She is in Portlan Oregon at a foster home. We will set up a meet and greet with an approved application.
