Who's been waiting for a teddy bear?%BD%A0 Teddy is a starter-size Saint Bernard mix weighing only 98 pounds.%BD%A0 He is 8 years old, and the vet says he's as healthy as a horse.%BD%A0 He is altered, microchipped, and UTD on vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and heartworm prevention.%BD%A0 Teddy came to Lucky Farms after he lost his home in a fire. Teddy has been the perfect companion and house guest. He knows basic commands, walks on a leash, and communicates his needs and boundaries effectively with whimpers, handshakes, and the occasional howl. Teddy is a little hard of hearing so he may not respond immediately, but once you get his attention, he is eager to please. He loves lots of things:%BD%A0 -People of all ages; good for dog savvy families with kids -Other mellow dogs, as well as cats and donkeys -Long walks to smell all the things -Chasing squirrels and tennis balls -Car rides -All things outside especially sitting on the porch with his foster family -The occasional game of tug with a sock And most of all%BD'%BD| %BD%A0 -Snuggling on the couch Because Teddy is a natural explorer, he will REQUIRE a fenced yard.%BD%A0 He will also have to be on-leash when out. Teddy is currently being fostered in Bowling Green, Kentucky. While LFAR does adopt out of state, adopters will need to travel to the foster home to meet the dog and transport him home with you.%BD%A0 %BD%A0All adoption requirements, application, and donation information can be found at https://www.luckyfarmsrescue.org/adoption
