About Ted

Ted's road to a forever home hasn't been an easy one. This guy entered a high intake facility in Texas as a stray. He was so afraid there and sometimes when he was afraid and people tried to touch him, he would bite them. This led him to a room they called the EU room where dogs go in and never come out. Luckily for Ted, a shelter worker contacted MHCR and begged for us to save his life. Our foster parent agreed and Ted came to CO. Ted was still very afraid after coming to CO and the decision was made to separate him to a new foster home where he could get more 1:1 attention. However, Ted escaped this foster home and got hit by a car. The doctors thought Ted would have limited mobility but miraculously he's made a full recovery. Ted rejoined his original foster home where he now seeks out human attention and plays with his foster canine friends! He's well on his way to being the best boy he can be! Ted needs a mature home with a playful dog and a secure yard. His humans should be patient and skilled in dealing with fearful dogs. His adoption fee is $350 and he's in foster in Englewood.
