Please note! We are a TX based rescue that transport our dogs to the midwest once they have been adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. Hiya! My name is Lucy. My rescue wants to tell you that I am currently residing in TX, but I am able to transport anywhere once I am adopted! Yeehaw! I am a super social and loving shepherd mix girl. I am great with all the humans and canines I meet. My favorite activity at my foster mums house is play time with my canine foster brother. We love to wrassle and chase each other around. Besides chasing around my foster brother, I am really awesome on my walks with foster mum. She takes me a on a 2 mile walk everyday! We see lots of cool things on our daily walks, like deer and other dogs. I am what is called a good dog you see. Foster mom says the only bad thing about me is I like to chase her cats. Heck, what does she 'spect!? I am descended from a shepherd and a hunting dog known as a black mouth cur. Did you know that old yeller was a black mouth cur? We are known for our loyalty and commitment to family. I am super devoted and cant wait to find my furever family. My ideal home would be an active family that had time to devote to me and my needs.
