About Sadie Sue

Sweet Sadie Sue is a beautiful black tri Aussie, getting ready to celebrate her 9th birthday on Christmas Eve! She might just be the sweetest dog on Earth. Sadie is a typical velcro Aussie and loves people. She has really never met a stranger. She is a snuggle dog and loves to be right by you or in your lap. Need a friend to accompany you to the bathroom? Or the kitchen? Or the bedroom? She's your girl! You'd never know she was an outdoor farm dog, living on a chain in the yard for so many years. She adapted to indoor living right away in her foster home, discovering all things soft and snuggly. Foster mom said it was like she had lived there forever! She has never had an accident in the house, and picked right up on use of the dog door. No more back yard chain for this girl! Sadie walks well on a leash and loves her walks. She could use a little more training but her foster family has been working on her basic commands like 'sit', 'lay down', and 'go to your bed'. Currently she sleeps in bed with her foster parents, and can be trusted to stay loose in the house when her family is away. Sadie gets along well with other dogs and ignores the neighborhood cats when out on walks. She loves and trusts all people, big and small. She will need a fully fenced back yard to keep her safe, and cannot live near chickens or livestock. Sadie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives. Sadie is being fostered in NW Arkansas.
