About ZZ Top Dog

**ATTENTION* For parents who understand and have experience with rescues and fear aggression ONLY** ZZ is a precious sweetheart of a dog. Unfortunately she does not get the love and attention that she needs, and since we live in a city for work, she is not getting the outside time that she loves and needs. Her happy place is off leash, in the woods, with her human. She needs someone who understands rescue behavior. Though she is better than when we first got her, she is very afraid of strange humans and dogs and needs to be hugged and assured that everything is okay when encountering strangers on a leash. Oddly she does great at dog parks though! In the home she needs to be assured that visitors will not harm her or her family, so letting her sniff people and not making eye contact for some time is important. It is hard for her to let people in, but when she does she is loyal for life. She will never run away, never act out, or act badly. She is extremely smart and capable of understanding any direction. She is very quiet, submissive, and keeps to herself inside. Sometimes we forget we have a dog! But don't be fooled, she has so much energy that needs to be run out! She hides her energy internally as anxiety, and she gets very stressed when not taken on daily long walks! So be prepared to walk! Off leash preferred, but she is leash trained! Just hug her when those loud trucks come by! ZZ is needing someone that has a lot of time and doesn't have young children, or other dogs as she needs to be the only child! She needs a lot of love and attention, and will be the best companion you ever had if you do. Let me know if you have any questions! Needing to find a loving home for ZZ soon!! Breaking our heart to relinquish our sweet ZZ, but I have a knee injury, we just had a baby, and we do not have the time for her and she deserves SO much better!!!
